Eastlake Craft Brewery - Minneapolis, MN

Minneapolis is home to dozens of new craft breweries, but only one that's located in a bustling marketplace full of unique food and craft vendors like the Midtown Global Market. Our challenge was to create a distinct and intimate space for the tap room, while still retaining a dynamic connection to the open market. We used hand-tooled materials that reflect the small-batch brewing process in creating boundaries and enclosures for the space. Careful layout of the brewing area, bar, restrooms, and seating allowed us to maximize window space along Lake St and 10th Ave. This provides exceptional light during the day, and a dynamic facade viewed from the street at night. Where previous tenants closed off views to Lake St., we now have a vibrant street-front along one of Minneapolis's most important corridors.
