Golden Valley residence - Golden Valley, mn

This transformative project involved reconfiguring the main level and adding a light-filled addition set in the homeowners’ charming wooded yard. We relocated the kitchen to the former cramped living room space and vaulted the ceiling, adding rustic beams. The new living room features a cozy wood stove and dark wood paneling, with windows on all three sides for light and views. An unused front room became a snug library with open staircase and dark paneling. The resulting home is a charming traditional space with seamless integration of modern elements
